Lotte Seir – "Against all odds" Painting, drawings, metal and film

Varnishing: Saturday 8 November, at 15-19
Wine and music will be served with Knud Grumløse on accordion.

My life has taken me far and wide and has given me ample opportunities to tell stories.
My stories are expressed in painting, drawings, metal and other media.
At 17 years old, I traveled alone into the world and was seized by travel. In 1962 I was in the United States for the first time. Several stays with the Hopi Indians in Arizona changed my life.
Man in the face of vast nature is an important starting point for my visual poems.
At the exhibition you can see a film that was recorded on a year-long journey in 1971 from California to the Hopi Indians and further north to the Bread and Puppet Theater in Vermont.
A little CV:
Trained goldsmith and designer. In 1968 I went for admission to Statens Nye Teaterskole and passed the first test. The theater in the underground attracted me, so I chose to travel to the Firehouse Theater in San Francisco.

In the same period, Anders Skrot Hansen exhibits
